Update on me(written 2 days ago just got on wifi again)
Thankfully food is now easy to eat. Although its almost the same meal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner I can fill my belly and no longer feel nauseous. The actual yoga classes (asanas) are increasing my strength and I’m excited to learn how far I will be able to stretch in the positions. As hard and sweaty as the classes are nothing beats the energy I feel afterwards. I can’t imagine how wonderful I’ll feel after the entire month.
The days seem so long here, but starting at 5am will do that. I love being surrounded by the foothills of the Himalayas. The moon was so beautiful last night (the picture doesn’t do it justice). Today we woke up to the rain, meaning monsoon season has began. It will only rain an hour or so a day which cools down the hot air, but also increases humidity.
We have amazing people in our group. Most have quit their jobs as well making me breathe much easier. There are Europeans, Africans, S/N Americans, and a few Asians. My favorite are the mixes: a Swiss Asian, an Australian Jew (who has a fantastic mouth on her), and a Chilean Swede. I can’t wait to get to know everyone and hear about their journeys.
I could write on forever, but I’ll stop here. I’m glad to have easy internet access and so thankful for Apple’s FaceTime. Nothing beats seeing your family and friends who are on the other side of the world. Keeping you all in my heart, please send emails and pictures so I can stay updated on your lives.
Peace and love, Tor
