Gyros at The Chicago Diner
Been dying to try this well-known vegan diner since I heard about when I got home and I finally stopped in late today. After discussing all the favorites with the bartender I chose the Gyros, which were deliciously messy. Instead of steak they use sliced seitan (a gluten wheat) and vegan tzatziki sauce. For a side I had Macaroni & Teese. I can’t wait to return to try the hot wings, vegan cinnamon rolls, and radical Reuben.
