hello friends!

First of all, I’d like to say thanks for popping onto my blog, I’m very grateful for your visit.

My name is Viktoria, or Tori for short, and I currently reside in the New Zealand’s adventure capital, Queenstown with my husband, Ryan, my daughter, Lia and son, Oli.

I hail from the (Northern) suburbs of Chicago where I grew up fully infatuated with the big city life. I studied Business at the University of Missouri with an emphasis in Marketing and a minor degree in Spanish.

My passion for travel started at a young age, although it wasn’t until June 2012 that I received my first stamp in my passport. I dove deep, spending five months wandering around India, falling in love with the backpacker lifestyle and learning to open my heart in new ways. From there I carried on traveling, spending time in Australia, Southeast Asia, Europe and South America where I met up with Ryan.

In October 2015, we moved to New Zealand where we instantly felt home. We absolutely love exploring the land of the white cloud and do so with our kids.

On my page you’ll find a mix of travel stories, tips for wandering and family-related adventures. On top of blogging and sharing my love of mother nature through photos, I’m also a copy-writer and craft beer connoisseur.
