Gone Juicin'

Juicing3 Days of just juice, juice, and more juice.I have a few guy friends who swear on juicing. They can't get enough. They'll spend $9 per juice and have many a day. I said they're crazy. I didn't understand until I tried it. I grabbed my friend Jared to help me pick my produce and teach me out to properly juice. $40 later and a full fridge of fruit and veg, I was ready to start the process. Slightly messy (especially when you add beets) but oh so fun. It took about an hour to juice enough for days. Ideally juice is best to drink as soon as you make it, but going back and forth from the city to the burbs for work, I chose to do it all at once. It's a bit hard to continually drink the same juice all day. I found myself only getting through a few jars rather than the 8 I needed to. On day two, I was miserable. I hated it. I did not think I'd last so I grabbed a juice from the health bar next to my work to satisfy my craving for some other taste. When I told the nutritionist about my cleanse, she said tomorrow I'd wake up feeling like a million bucks. And boy did I. I woke up with insane energy and feeling higher on life than ever before. That feeling is worth it. Though day two was hell, it was worth day three. I get it now. I understand the juice craze and I plan to introduce this healthy lifestyle in to my daily routine. If you have a juicer, get juicin', if not find a local, organic juice stop and give it a whirl. I promise you'll enjoy the results.x
